Can’t source Albertini windows anymore?
The historic Albertini factory in Verona has wound down through insolvency, and new orders are going unfilled. Chablais offers windows and doors in the same European tradition — custom wood, clad, and steel, made in Europe and brought to your door.
What happened to Albertini A respected name, no longer supplying
Founded near Verona in 1954, Albertini earned a real reputation for hand-built Italian wood windows and doors — and for years served demanding projects across the United States.
That production has now ended. The Italian operation went through insolvency, and the successor entity in Verona entered judicial liquidation — the process by which a company’s assets are wound down. In practical terms, the factory is no longer taking or fulfilling new custom orders.
For homeowners mid-project, and for the architects and builders who specified Albertini, that leaves a hard gap: orders that can’t be completed, and no clear source for matching or replacement units. That’s the gap Chablais is built to close.
If you're stranded Where Chablais can step in

Albertini windows: your questions
Is Albertini still in business?
The historic Albertini window factory near Verona has wound down through insolvency proceedings, and its successor entity entered judicial liquidation. The Italian production that made the brand’s reputation is no longer supplying new custom orders.
Can I still buy Albertini windows?
New custom Albertini production is not being fulfilled. If you have a stalled order, a partial installation to complete, or units to replace, Chablais can supply comparable European windows and doors made to your specifications.
Can Chablais match my existing Albertini windows?
In most cases, yes — we work to match style, proportions, sightlines, and material closely. Share your drawings, photos, and sizes and we’ll advise honestly on how close a match we can achieve.
Do you offer the same styles — arched, steel, clad?
Yes. Arched and round-top casements, push-out and tilt-turn windows, lift-and-slide and French doors, divided-lite glazing, and steel windows are all part of the range, in wood, clad wood, or steel.
Are you affiliated with Albertini?
No. Chablais is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a successor to Albertini. We reference the Albertini name only to help owners and builders who can no longer be supplied find an alternative.
